TIGER TATTOO
Tattoo Policies & FAQs
-
Does Tiger Tattoos accept Walk-ins?
-
We accept walk-ins: Tuesday - Saturday, 12-8pm! Please be aware that this is on a first come first serve basis, and we are only able to accommodate walk-ins based on available artists.
-
-
Can I get a tattoo if I am under the age of 18?
-
No! Under no circumstances will we tattoo anyone under 18 at Tiger Tattoos. It is illegal in the state of Texas to tattoo a minor, even with parental consent.
-
-
Can I use numbing cream for my appointment?
-
Please consult with your artist before using any numbing cream or other medications prior to your appointment. Numbing cream can have an effect on the tattoos healing and can impact the tattooing process. Please do not use numbing cream without informing your artist.
-
-
How does pricing work and what forms of payment do you accept?
-
We accept cash & card, and individual artists may accept payments such as Venmo, CashApp, Applepay, etc.
-
Pricing varies depending on which artist you are working with. Our artists will quote based on the time that the tattoo will take. This can be affected by size, placement, and design.
-
-
Can I bring other people with me to my appointment?
-
Absolutely! We want the tattooing process to feel safe, comfortable, and enjoyable, so bring a buddy if you need one!
-
Please be aware that space in our studio is limited, so while a friend or family member is welcome to hang out with us while you get tattooed, we might not be able to accommodate large groups to watch you get tattooed.
-
-
This is my first tattoo, what should I do to prepare?
-
First and foremost, remember to relax. Tattoos are often not as scary as some people make them sound. Keeping yourself relaxed is essential to having a comfortable tattoo experience.
-
Remember to eat and hydrate before your appointment! Avoid heavy, greasy meals, and be sure to drink water (energy drinks or coffee alone do not count as hydration).
-
Shower and get clean! Poor hygiene can lead to dangers while your tattoo is healing.
-
Don't over-prepare! Don't worry about shaving or applying lotions & creams to the area that will be tattooed, your artist will take care of that for you. Doing too much to your skin beforehand can lead to issues like razor-bumps, rashes, etc., and can result in your tattoo being rescheduled!
-
Wear appropriate clothing! Be sure the clothing you wear gives your artist appropriate access to the area being tattooed. (For example, don't wear tight fitting jeans to your thigh tattoo appointment.)
-
If you have other questions or concerns, consult with your artist! Everyone in our studio has a focus on safety and comfort, so if you need anything, please contact us!
