There may be a short wait time prior to your appointment so that the jewelry you select can be properly sterilized.

Please Note:

Not every person is a qualified candidate for every piercing. Your piercer will inspect your anatomy at your appointment to determine if you qualify for the piercing you are interested in getting.

Piercings for Minors

We offer piercings for those under 18 years of age, but will require a few things for your appointment:

  • Your parent or legal guardian must accompany you to your appointment and be present for the duration of your appointment.

  •  We must be provided a copy of the birth certificate for the minor being pierced, as well as a valid legal ID for the parent/legal guardian attending with the minor (this can include a Driver's License, Passport, etc.)

    • We do not accept Driver's Licenses, passports, or other forms of ID for the minor being pierced; only their birth certificate qualifies as sufficient documentation.

  • Your parent/legal guardian is required to fill out a Parental Consent Affidavit, and the minor being pierced will be required to fill out a Client Record before the appointment.

New Piercing Info

  • All piercings are performed with internally threaded or threadless ASTM F-136 Titanium that is sterilized in-house with a Tuttnauer 1730 MKV Autoclave.

PIERCING AFTERCARE

  • Properly cleanse the pierced area by gently compressing and wiping the area twice a day with a Sterile Saline Wound Wash.

(We recommend NeilMed Piercing Aftercare, which can be purchased in our studio.)

  • For at least six weeks, do not go swimming or submerge the location of your piercing in any body of water.

(While it is recommended to keep your piercing as dry as you are able, please continue to shower regularly, patting the piercing dry with a clean paper towel afterward.)

  • Do not touch, twist, turn, or rotate your piercing for any reason other than cleaning twice a day.

  • Do not change or remove your piercing during the healing process

(We recommend six to nine months before changing your jewelry, but this can vary

between piercings so please consult with your piercer.)

  • Do not use contact solution or your own at-home saline solution to clean your piercingThis will dry up the pierced location and cause additional irritation.

  • *ORAL PIERCINGS* Do not smoke, drink alcohol, or engage in oral sexual activity while your piercing is healing.

In the event your piercing falls out, is damaged, or is not healing properly, please come into the studio as soon as you can to consult with one of our piercers.

Please do not place a foreign object in your piercing hole in the event your piercing falls out, as this can lead to infection.

At the first sign of diagnosed infection, allergic reaction, or other health concern as a result of your body piercing, please contact us as soon as you are able at (325) 436-0270 and report to the Texas Department of State Health Services, Tattoo and Body Piercing Program at (512) 834-6711.
